We are a record label based in Lima, Peru. This is a company for and from musicians, as most of the staff plays in a band or is actively involved in the development and promotion of our scene.
Ogro Records seeks to nourish potent Rock music from our side of the planet. Wether it's Heavy Rock, Stoner, Garage, Doom, Psych, Surf, Punk, Metal or other form of Rock'n Roll: far from looking for an orthodox identity within any of these styles, we're interested in intensity, originality and inspiration. We want to put on the map the work of strong Rock bands that aren't represented by our musical industry, almost entirely dedicated to selling pre-manufactured, fashionable styles and products for mass consumption.
We're open to interact with labels, promoters, distributors, organizers, bands, companies and entrepreneurs both Peruvian and otherwise, in order to form bonds that will help benefit the true underground rock movement of our region and the world.
Through Ogro, we've released several records edited in parallel by labels in Europe and the United States, and we are working on several projects for releases, events and gigs involving national and foreign bands, that will see the light of day within the next few months.
